This privacy policy applies to the Wonder Alarm app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by AlphaMu Studios (collectively, the "Application"). AlphaMu Studios is hereby referred to as the "Service Provider".
The Application does not directly collect personal data. However, information may be collected automatically through third-party services when you download and use the Application.
Your alarms, custom labels, custom alarm sounds, sleep logs, and water and stretch tracking data are stored only locally on your device and are never transmitted to the Service Provider or to any third party.
The Application does not directly collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or phone number. However, it processes device-related identifiers and usage data through third-party services for analytics, advertising, and crash reporting purposes.
The Application also allows you to select a city, a base currency, and an in-app display language. To provide weather, currency, and news content, the city name, currency code, and your selected app language are sent to the Service Provider's own backend service. For news specifically, your device's region and system language — detected automatically from your device settings, not separately selected within the app — are also sent, so that region-appropriate headlines can be retrieved. In every case, only these necessary values are forwarded — never any personally identifiable information — to third-party weather, currency, and news data providers in order to retrieve and display this content. News thumbnail images, when available, are loaded directly from the original publisher's own servers, which is standard practice for news and RSS readers; this means your device connects directly to that publisher when displaying such an image.
The Service Provider's own backend service also necessarily receives your device's IP address with every request, which it uses briefly and only in a cryptographically hashed (non-reversible) form to apply rate limiting and protect the service against abuse; this record is automatically deleted within a few minutes. The city name you enter is processed the same way: it is stored on the backend only as a cryptographically hashed (non-reversible) cache key, used solely to avoid repeating the same request to the third-party weather provider, and is never stored in a form that could be read back as the city you typed.
To function properly as a reliable alarm clock, the Application requires the following system permissions. The Service Provider only uses these permissions to provide the core functionality of the app, and no personal data from them is ever collected, stored, or transmitted:
The Application or its third-party SDKs may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, device identifiers, and similar technologies to support functionality, analytics, service delivery, and advertising. Where required by applicable law (such as in the European Economic Area), the Service Provider will obtain consent before using non-essential tracking technologies.

The Service Provider does not sell your personal data. Information may be shared with third-party Service Providers strictly for the following purposes:
The Service Provider or its third-party Service Providers may transfer personal data to countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, the Service Provider will use appropriate mechanisms.

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
You can stop further collection of information from your mobile device by uninstalling the Application. Uninstalling will stop the Application from collecting data from your device, but it does not automatically delete information that has already been transmitted to the Service Provider or to third parties.
The Service Provider retains personal data based on its necessity for the stated purposes:
If any user-provided data is ever collected, it will be retained only for as long as necessary for its intended purpose, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
The Application is not directed to children under the age of 13. In jurisdictions where a higher minimum age is required (such as the European Economic Area), the Application is not intended for users below that age unless appropriate consent has been obtained.
The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or market the Application to them.
Where parental or guardian consent is required under applicable law, the Application is not intended for use without that consent.
While the Application does not directly request personal information (such as name, email address, or phone number), certain data (such as device identifiers and usage data) may be collected automatically by third-party services (e.g., analytics, advertising, and crash reporting tools).
In the event the Service Provider discovers that a child has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this.
If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided the Service Provider with personal information, please contact the Service Provider at wonderalarm.support@gmail.com so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.
The Service Provider implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.
If a data breach occurs that affects your personal data, the Service Provider will notify you in accordance with applicable legal requirements, including, where required, providing information about the nature of the breach and the steps being taken to address it.
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy with an effective date. Where required by law, the Service Provider will seek your consent to material changes before they take effect.

Where processing is based on consent, you provide that consent by affirmatively opting in to the relevant feature or action. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. Processing based on other lawful bases is carried out as described above.
